How changes are handled
Correction, update, clarification, and reply are different actions
Correction
Fixes a material error in the published record.

Clarification
Makes accurate text less ambiguous or easier to interpret.
Right of reply
Adds relevant, attributed context without giving a subject control over the evidence standard.
Review expectations
When a reply address is provided, 2IA will try to acknowledge a documented request. Review time depends on the source record, legal stage, privacy risk, and whether independent verification is needed; no fixed response deadline or legal outcome is promised.
2IA will correct material errors, document significant public changes, and protect unnecessary personal information. It will not remove accurate public-interest information merely because it is inconvenient or treat an unsupported demand as proof.
